With all the previous leaks from WikiLeaks why hasn't the Obama administration already figured out how to prosecute them?

So why is the Obama administration only figuring this out now?

Attorney General Eric Holder said this week that the Justice Department is examining whether Assange can be charged with a crime for posting hundreds of thousands of leaked government intelligence documents and diplomatic cables. . . .

The real crime against the American people was letting Assange get a hold of those cables to begin with. Hillary's head should have rolled by now. The world is full of people looking to steal our secrets, that's normal, and in some cases, it's their job as foreign intelligence agents to do so.
What isn't normal or acceptable is having a Secretary of State who is such a pathetic old dolt that she ignored grossly deficient information security.
I don't care if people say that Hillary is a just a tired old political hack who can't be bothered by details like security, and shouldn't be blamed for the deficiencies of people specifically tasked with such matters - as Secretary of State she was responsible for oversight of the State Department and she failed to exercise adequate oversight. I know she's too politically correct to be held accountable by mere mortals, but she should resign anyway or be fired. She is an ongoing liability to America and a national embarrassment - terminate her.
