Treasury expects huge increase in US national debt by 2015

Remember the national debt on September 30, 2008 was just barely over $10 trillion. Now it is announce that the Obama administration expects it to go up to $19.6 trillion in 2015. From 2000 to 2008 it increased by about $4.3 trillion. $1.5 trillion of that occurred with the Democrats were in charge of both the House and the Senate.

The U.S. debt will top $13.6 trillion this year and climb to an estimated $19.6 trillion by 2015, according to a Treasury Department report to Congress. . . .
