On CNN, "Napolitano: 'The system worked'"

This was a little bit of a surprise claim: "the system worked." I suppose that she could argue that having the passengers act was part of her grand plan, but this seems like a lot to claim.

I'm amazed how few are commenting on how inane Napolitano's statement was. How can anyone not mock her and the rest of the govenment's reaction. But then again, how can you parody what acts like parody.

What worked was the American "Let's Roll" spirit that first stuck its independent finger in the face of Islamic arrogance over Pennsylvania on 11 Sept. 2001. May it continue to rise at every opportunity whatever the politics or bureaucratic incompetence of the day.

This is a joke, right? She isn't really being serious is she?
Apparently 'The Plan' is to employ brave young Dutch gentlemen to ride our planes so they can pat out fuses with their bare hands before the bombs go off.
Clearly, we want all international suspects to clear foreign security, regardless of the number of lists they have been on, or warnings from their own parents, so that we can get them to the US, read them their Miranda Rights and imprison them in IL...builds the voter base don't ya know! These community organizers and 'Social Democrats' are just so much fun.
Do you think Barry has been shipping Maui Wowie home to the 'kids' at the White House? They sure are smoking something...

Markie Marxist sez: "Uh, yeah! The system worked! See! We Marxists with our big government programs can protect people! We can do it! It can happen! Or at least we can take credit when things work out well for us. We wouldn't be able to do that if we didn't have these big programs in place, so the system of having these big programs and taking credit worked. For us, anyway."
