New Op-ed up at Fox News: The tilt towards Democrats

My newest Fox News piece starts this way:

Is Barack Obama a uniter? Since the beginning of the Democratic primaries, unity has been one of his major themes. It proved a strong lure compared to the polarizing Hillary Clinton. That theme has also helped Obama blunt the undeniable bi-partisan record of John McCain.

But being a uniter takes some effort. It isn’t just about words. Republicans have pointed to Obama’s lack of bi-partisan accomplishments in either state or federal government. And even Obama’s presidential campaign indicates that he has a tin ear when it comes to dealing with those he disagrees with. One of the surest ways to anger others is not giving them a chance to air their views.

Obama’s list of heavy-handed actions is growing: . . .

It is very obvious that the Obama campaign is working over time flooding this site with pro-Obama comments. I guess that if you raise $750 million you can afford to hire some people to post comments multiple times. It is strange how many comments are being posted from Washington DC and Chicago with the same IP addresses. Does anyone else have a theory for this? I am not allowing multiple posts on the same point today.

Note also that Maureen Dowd was only temporarily replaced with reporters on the McCain plane. 1) She was replaced by reporters (she is not a reporter). Is Glamour magazine a news publication now? Will it publish anything in the days running up to the election. 2) She was later allowed back on.

In addition, while the editorial page at the WSJ is conservative, the news section is very similar to that at other newspapers.

I understand the problems of the liberal media and the difficulty in getting opposing information into print, but surely there must be a way to widely publicize this information to the general public who is easily taken in the empty promises of the Democrats without really understanding what would be involved in implementing them. Why, for example, does the Rebulican Party not make television commercials using this content or use other forums that will be seen by large numbers of people from across demographic groups?

Good. It's time for the other side to play all the nasty tricks. Republican thought has dominated since 1980. Let's see if the Dems can do any better. This is what we get for not having more than two major parties.

Obama clearly destroys anyone who disagrees with him. Look at how he won his senate seats and then how he treated Joe the Plumber. He destroyed and made fun of the guy. Not a trait of a leader, but of an insecure manipulative person. That's the real Obama. If he is the next President, I believe America the land of the free will be no more.

If there were any evidence whatsoever that McCain or Palin were interested in anything except division and fear-mongering, this might be a viable topic of discussion. My main criticism of the democrats over the years has been their willingness to compromise with the right wing extremists of the christianist wing of the republican party.

No wonder nobody likes Fox News due to their fear-mongering and low-class tactics of imposing their right-winger ideology on every American and forcing them to look at the thing as they want them to. Too bad Fox, we are living in a world of Internet where googling something takes hardly 5 second. I'm sure finding truth is not that hard so thank you very much for your fear-mongering anti-democratic organization.

Obama has done nothing but divide the nation. He began by dividing the democratic party with his race baiting and sexist campaign.......accusing Bill Clinton of being racist because he pointed out the historical fact that "Jesse JAckson won SC too." and went as far as to flip the bird when saying the name Hillary at one of his "sermons"....and then waiting for his laugh. I have watched as he labeled anyone that questioned him as racist. Even for blacks he has not stood up for Michael Bell in NY shot by police and killed going to his car after the bachlor party.....and we certainly did not hear from Obama when a house in CA was on the news for displaying a hanging Sarah Palin from a noose off their house as part of a Halloween display. Now just how long do you think it would have taken him to voice his opinion if I hung an Obama dummy by a noose in my front yard for Halloween????? Obama is a divider and the lower taxes he talks about will really be that folks will work less hours (some will lose their jobs completely) and therefore pay less tax on less earnings. Obama intends to stop the Bush tax cuts in 2010 and then your taxes will go up even if your earn $30K per year. Obama will also cut the space program for 5 years and fails to understand that new technologies come from space research. McCain is no Hillary but at the very least he and Sarah Palin will grow jobs by investing in oil and gas drilling and solar and nuclear and wind power.....all these jobs are here in the USA.. VOTING REPUBLICAN for the first time in my 53 years. McCain /Palin 2008 and HILLARY 2012

John -- Your entire article is mis-leading and one-sided ... For example, while there are many citizens that support the NRA, it does not make sense to allow a one-issue (guns) organization to dictate the political process. I applaud any and all activity politicians take to remove one-side 'advertisements' that attack any candidate. If the NRA wants to support McCain that's fine, but why should they be allowed to mis-represent and attack a different view? You are inherently supporting the very activity you are accusing the Obama campaign of ...

I found one statement in this article interesting...

"Democrats seemed determined to cut back on the few conservative voices in the mainstream media"

Not sure where you live but here the AM dial is wall to wall conservative radio. The only liberal talk raido I have ever heard is Air America. I bet if you look at the markets Rush is in compared to Air America it would not even be close.

Also (off topic) I think Fox "News" would have much more credibility (fair and balanced?) if just once a year or so it did any story.....anything that was critical of Republicans.

The synchronized talking points make it appear that the Fox news wire is really just attached to the White House fax machine.

I think it is very appropriate for Republicans and conservitaves to have a dedicated channel that does stories its demographic want to see. However even K.O. on Countdown (MSNBC) will on occasion rip speaker Nancy, Harry Reed or Murtha etc. He even will put himself on the worst persons list.

Self deprecation shows the presence of actual analysis.

Fox news should never talk about fair, ever. After all the back handed Republican propaganda over the last 4 elections..

This is the problem, Radio and TV with no common sense makes good listening and reading for those with no sense.

I grew up in KS, the home land of political foolishness, riddled with Right wing nuts who think this country is about them, instead of about everyone together. When the narrow minded realize that we are all connected and "Joe's" actions affect "John's" actions and so on, then maybe we will start to be the great nation we once were.

The current state of right wing media is disgusting. If you have a point, argue that point like a responsible intelligent person. Dictating your beliefs is wrong, and is made even worse when the beliefs you spew are connected together with racist, terrorist and other absolutely ridiculous assumptions.

Stay on message, if your message stinks, re-write it, if your message fails get a new one.. if you lose come back in 4 years and try again.

And last but not least, if your message stinks and you don't change it, then you are a fool and don't expect anyone to elect you.

John,

How are the book sales going?!?

For someone who holds himself out as an academic, I find your piece to be incredibly one-sided.

For example, you are quick to make comparisons with Nixon regarding the Obama campaign press corps changes, but you fail to compare the campaign to the far heavier-handed tactics of the current Administration and its relationship with the press. Of course, that wouldn't support your point, would it? Nor would it be relevant to talk about how the current President talked about reaching across the aisle when he was campaigning.

I agree that actions speak louder than words and it will be very telling to witness what happens after Tuesday, should Senator Obama be elected. I too, would be disappointed to see the Democrats use an election victory as a staging ground for things like the "Fairness Doctrine." But I must say, if you are going to use your academic platform to write pieces such as the one published today on the FOX site, then you ought to at least try for a little more academic rigor and impartiality in the claims you are making.

For example, you make one structural point about the public financing laws which has been a structural advantage for incumbents for centuries and really has nothing to do with the campaign finance laws. And yet, you fail to talk about the real issues of independent expenditures and issue ads where the funds poured in by traditionally Republican insterests have long swamped the money that unions have been able to use to support their endorsed candidates in getting out the vote.

The sad thing about all this, however, has very little to do with the diminished stature that pieces like this bring to good (some even great) institutions of learning where you have been, or to the corruption of the ideal of academic intellectual honesty, but rather, the shame of a piece like this is the furthering of the pattern of attacks that have been waged by both sides of the aisle since Watergate (or at least since the Bork hearings).

It's no wonder our country (which I believe craves a unifier) lacks a leader of either party whose actions can live up to its words. As long as voices like yours, cloaked in the sheen of academic "truth" write attack pieces such as this, it seems that we will continue down the same path of uncivil discourse.

Shame on you!

Obama a Uniter? Actions Speak Louder Than Words
Monday, November 03, 2008

By John R. Lott Jr.
1)That's funny that you think the fairness doctrine is divisive because it will make divisive partisan media balanced.

2)The only thing keeping that Kurtz video from airing after the primaries was lack of an open endorsement from McCain or Kurtz failing to file to be a 527. Kurtz wanted to buy TV time to air this program after the primaries. That's specifically controlled by McCain/Feingold. I haven't seen Kurtz trying to pass off his Ayers story on youtube or some other viral source, no profit there. A red-herring conspiracy, not a rarity this election.

3)Usually a cease-and-desist is filed when an ad is lying or misleading in direct contradiction to the truth.

John, where did you go wrong? You are a well-credentialed economist writing a rediculous op-ed piece for a divisive media group after the most divisive presidency ever. When did you become a political sock-puppet? If divisiveness is gnawing at your gut so much that you have to write this fluff piece, take pleasure in knowing there is no way Obama could be close to as divisive as GWBush. You certainly seem to have a selective eye for criticism on the issue of divisiveness. I question your professional objectivity.

I highly doubt the fairness doctrine will be the top priority of the Obama administration. In fact, my guess is that the panicked doomsaying regarding this issue will disapear after the election. But, the reality is none of us really knows what will happen in an Obama, (or McCain) administration.
That it is even being brought up is no one's fault but the Republicans, and those who have pushed Republican candidates regardless of their performance and priorities. When GWB came to office he had a 10-year projected budget surplus of 5 TRILLION dollars. When you divide the 15 Trillion plus difference between that number and our current deficit by the number of Federal Income Taxpayers, (around 120 million)-you get an increase debt load of WELL OVER 100,000.00 for every one of us.
This is what unchallenged Republicanism has wrought. And it's not like we have new infrastructure, or other tangible assets as a result of this added debt, (most of which came from borrowing money to give tax cuts). You, John Lott, should be lauding what's about to happen. Otherwise you are no more than a cheerleader for our destruction. It is irrelevant what an Obama administration brings when contrasted with the unprecedented pillaging that has taken place at the hands of the people you support. Time to stop making excuses and take your well-deserved beating like a man.

It is time for the Democrats to come in and clean up another mess made by the conservatives. Republicans can't hold office for more than a few years without the whole country going to hell. Should we (by now) not see that there is something intrinsically wrong with conservative thinking, particularly in this ever-changing world? Progressives have to come in once in a while to jack this country up to the next level and keep us competitive--don't ever count on conservatives for that. But how they like to loudly proclaim that they're the real voice of mainstream America, and that the Democrats represent the fringe elements only! What a load of crap.

If you'd like to see more of this kind of divisive propaganda, go to the Wall Street Journal--this guy doesn't even compare to the class of conservative whining they manage over there. John Lott doesn't compare to the editors of the WSJ in the amount of fear and hate they have for anything that might go counter to their own ideas about what conservatism (what they'll call the 'real America') should be.

I have heard the term "yellow journalism" before. Nowadays I don't have to try hard to look for an example -- turning my TV to FoxNews channel always gives me the pleasure of viewing "yellow journalism" and distortion of information. Your news channel has become an extension of propaganda-machine of McCain-Palin camp -- the very camp that showed no real solution to anything but kept on running one negative campaign after another against their opponents. Could you guys praise the opposition camp just once for its non-support to any negativity -- like McCain's association with Keating, or Palin's teenage daughter's pregnancy contradicting Palin's stand on abstinence, or Palin's power abuse? There could be so many temptingly delicious negative campaigns against McCain-Palin, but hats off to Obama-Biden for not utilizing those negative issues and for staying focussed only on the real issues. FoxNews staff, please don't call yourselves journalists because that would reduce the respect of common people towards journalism. It is hard to witness such blatant and shameless propaganda on public television in the United States. You are better suited for the needs of an autocracy.

Why are so many Obama lovers spending their time monitoring what is coming out of a "so-called" right wing unfair network? Could it be that they are here to keep up with anything that needs to be countered quickly by the "Obama Campaign Machine?" Do you people really think that you are going to get all of his outrageous promises for nothing? Everything has a cost or consequence, even from the other camp. What amazes me most is that you all consider yourselves so much better and more informed than anyone from the other side. Isn't your basic ideals that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and that everyone's voice should be heard and not silenced? Why then do almost everyone of you to a person not abide anyone disagreeing with you? We have graciously allowed you to voice your opinions for many years, but we are to shutup. Remember that this country is founded on Judeo-Christian and capitalist views. Under this system, anyone that doesn't agree is not flogged, deported, dragged into court, or any other such drastic measures. However, let a conservative disagree with your group, and the lawsuits and name calling fly. Go somewhere else if you think it is so bad here, and quit trying to use the very freedoms that men died giving you to take them away from the rest of us. And just in case you think I'm just a conservative nut, I'm a registered independent, actually lean toward Libertarian views, and in my younger days was what was considered a "Hippie." I guess there are some of us that just never grow up or mature, realize that just maybe we can be wrong, or ever make an effort to actually look up the facts for themselves. When this happens, it is a real eye opener--you should try it. However, it does require reading and educating yourself. That's one more beautiful thing about this wonderful country that you are trying to tear to pieces; you can capitalize on your hard work, as long as you are willing to work. Quit looking for handouts, and instant gratification for your greed and envy. There will be no quick-fix for the predicament we are in, but a good start would be to quit living on credit, live within your means, can all the bailouts (unless of course these bailouts include everyone down to the lowest incomes--car and home repos, problems paying creditors, etc.). I really don't believe in a bailout for anyone, but if it's going to be done, include everyone. Here's an idea; give every single natural American citizen $1 million dollars to stimulate the economy. That would be approximately $350-400 million dollars, alot less than that being proposed now. That's alot of money to put back into the economy, and the big guys that got us into this mess can fend for themselves, just like us "regular folks" have always been required to do. Thanks for the chance to vent!

I've read many of the posting here, and am somewhat confused. I see mentions of Fox News, with many in a negative way. My confusion is ... what Fox News is this? As a retiree, I have watched a Fox News channel now for the last 5 years or so, and have been absolutely astonished regarding how non-committal the channel is; I think the mantra is 'Fair & balanced'. Now, if you folks are talking about a specific commentator, that is one thing ... but that commentator, be he/she liberal or conservative, is always counter-balanced by the opposite position; like H&C. In nearly every 'debate' segment, there are representatives of each domain ... and if there is not, the commentator always advises that they were invited to participate. So if you want to attack one commentator who has their own show, like Limbaugh, then that is OK ... but not the channel. They have historically been proven to be non-biased in their license responsibilities.

Dear John Lott,

I didn't realize that Obama and/or his campaign had indicted anyone on criminal charges. Would you point to an article, public statement, etc. that shows us these proceedings?

Your article basically describes Obama as a thug-like, dictatorial, Orwellian, fascist, authoritative propagandist. It is curious how the Obama camp's desire to quell defamatory rumors quickly turns to an Obama presidency that would abolish the first amendment, or render it essentially futile (Slippery Slope?).

Also, would you point to any statements or gestures where Obama has promised to eliminate dissent? I think the media and the public would be interested. I certainly would.

Furthermore, the media adores Obama because Obama is having a directly positive effect on their pocketbooks, at least I would guess, as his rock star status is making for an historical election, which attracts quite the reader base, thereby causing ratings to skyrocket. I have heard Rupert Murdoch in an interview say that he likes Obama and he prefers him to McCain; I believe he called him a rock star. Of course, McCain tried to rally this with Palin, but this does not seem to be panning out.

Lastly, why don't you reform the theater of media and universal practice of stating opinions as facts without evidential support and start producing articles, where you back up your opinions with facts, statements, or substantive quotes, perhaps paint a clear picture with both pros and cons, advantages and disadvantages, etc so that your rhetoric might forcibly appeal to people's intellect.

John: as I'm sure you know, you can create criminal libel by moving speech into the domain of campaign "ethics" laws.

This happened to a new Republican candidate in Wisconsin, where he was accused of "making false statements on campaign literature", a crime that has a penalty of "up to six months in jail and a $1,500 fine."

And you may have heard of the Missouri "Truth Squads", where two St. Louis (city and county) prosecutors similarly threatened people with violations of "ethics" laws for core political speech. (A sheriff was also named but not interviewed in the video referenced in the link and claims of unnamed others in the rest of the state were made.)

I'm not exactly pleased to see the latter in the state in which I was born and raised and have retired to....

BTW, thanks for checking the IP addresses for comments to this posting, that helps confirm what many have sensed is Astroturfing, which Axlerod's firm is said to specialize in.

This is a response to the opinion that Obama is not qualified to be president, a differing opinion you will never see on FAUX NEWS:

McCain is not qualified to be the president either, as he cannot even rally the GOP to his cause, he has morphed since 04 to pander to the 'intolerant right' (his words) in order to gain support from conservatives. He is loaded down with lobbyists running his campaign and his mouth. He professes little understanding for the economic issues, all of his grand ideas have been dismissed by leading economists. His foreign policy experience is highlighted by years as a cooperative POW, hardly the kind of world view we need now. And he selected Palin as a running-mate. We do not need a bottom-of-the-class (McCain West point) leader when we can have a top-of-the-class one (Obama Harvard Law School).

All McCain can do is wrap himself in the flag and hug Joe-the-plumber. Obviously, that won't get us out of the mess Bush has created for us, a total meltdown from the Clinton years of peace and economic prosperity.

The last 8 years of having an idiot in the Oval office should be proof enough that intelligence matters... so that's why most Americans are voting for Obama today!

I continue to read your blogs with great interest Mr. Lott - mainly because I don't see how someone who is clearly academically accomplished, intelligent, and articulate can so consistently deliver intellectually dishonest, misleading, partisan rubbish. Could you at least favour us with a straightforward piece on 'Why I am a Republican' or 'Why I loathe Liberalism' so that we might better understand where you are coming from? Or is this sort of writing just a job to you that you keep distinct from your real, enlightened political opinions? I bet you are secretly voting Obama/Biden, right?

There are a number of columnists who have observed that the United States is undergoing a fundamental change. This may be correct far beyond what the "talking heads" envision. As the centers of mass of discussion and philosophy grow further apart, the greater the liklihood that this country will end up fragmented into regions that hold fundamentally divergent views on the role of government. This election could be the catalyst for change far beyond the conventional view of the media and commentators.

Why Barrack Obama is the Wrong first Black President
( and will set the civil rights movement back 50 years…..)

I have grown up a product of the 60’s and 70’s – I am the product of two first generation college graduates who were successful and lived in upper middle class America. I learned at an early age to appreciate all peoples regardless of race creed or color. In spite of the fact that I was brought up in a Christian household and was told to love everyone and be tolerant of everyone -- the fact that I had many close friends that were “black” growing up never really seemed extraordinary to me. It wasn’t until later in life that I started noticing the effects of reverse discrimination as a result of “affirmative action” and saw some of my “Black” friends getting quotas to activities ahead of me because of their color that I started to question things.

Latter as my sister, an employee of the Los Angeles County, was denied promotion because of her race as less qualified Blacks and Hispanics were continually promoted over her; I began to question the notion of “true equality”. Her case was so grievous, they even changed her written test scores in order to promote less qualified minorities.

So now we have a Black man about to be elected as president of the United States of America. A Black Man who has previously written hateful racist comments, whose wife, the pending first lady wrote a horribly hateful and racist thesis while a student at Princeton. If a Caucasian had ever been a member of a “Church” that was as racist as Rev Wright’s or written paper’s as racist as those written by Michelle and Barrack Obama – the Liberal media would have had a field day with them and they wouldn’t stand a chance of being elected to any public office in the US – let alone to the highest office in the land. The Obama lovers say – they were young and immature when they voiced those opinions – but if a Caucasian had ever said similar things he or she would be labeled racist till he or she died. Is this equality? Dare I say not!

In the apparent race to get a Black in the White House – it appears that Blacks are willing to throw away the years for improvement in racial relations we have achieved thanks to Dr Martin Luther King. His ideals and beliefs as presented at Oslo when he received the Nobel peace prize were so vehemently different that Barrack Obama’s it is almost like night and day or black and white:

“If this is to be achieved, man must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love. The tortuous road which has led from Montgomery, Alabama, to Oslo bears witness to this truth. This is a road over which millions of Negroes are travelling to find a new sense of dignity.
This same road has opened for all Americans a new ear of progress and hope. It has led to a new Civil Rights bill, and it will, I am convinced, be widened and lengthened into a superhighway of justice as Negro and white men in increasing numbers create alliances to overcome their common problems.”
The Obama campaign has succeeded in breaking those alliances between Black and White to overcome their common problems and creating a deep and festering rift. A rift like a cancer that will continue to fester and ooze and cause the progress of great men like Dr. King and President Kennedy to take several steps backward. I have already noticed deep tension among my “black” friends and I caused by this election alone. People are saying this election is about unity and not about race – they couldn’t be further from the truth. What has happened in America is that Blacks in a quest to elect the first Black president have lost sight of the importance of choosing the best qualified candidate that can do what is best for the Country and not what is best to further the “Black agenda”.
I pray for unification and healing but, I fear it will come at a price and it will be a long time coming. I think Dr, King is rolling over in his grave. I pray that this country can continue to heal and get back to the basics of choosing the most qualified candidates regardless of race creed or color. When that day comes we will have achieved Dr King’s dream and the state of “True equality” I hope that dream comes in my lifetime.

If Mr. Lott is correct, he will only have himself to blame. I may not agree with the current president but I respect the office immensely. Ergo, that means you must respect the occupant of the office and judge him on what he does ... not what you think he will do.

Mr. Lott has prejudged what an Obama presidency will be like and has already declared him a non-uniter. He has no way of knowing if this will be true. But it sounds good and it riles the masses up.

From here, that looks like the goal.

Betcha Obama re-arranges the seating in the house and senate so that Democrats have all the aisle seats, making it possible to 'reach accross the aisle' on issues.

I am wondering how long after the Dems takeover do we as a country and people get known as communists?

Seems as if this election is a step in that direction and if the American people keep voting in that direction than having democratic politicians in place will push us ever further each year! Can't really blame just the politicians as a communist runs almost every year but usually never makes headway, until now...

How you liberals put down Fox news is very understandable to me. The only news channel that did not kowtow to the Messiah. Come on...NBC, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, CNN...have ALL elected the man who can walk on water. And the sheeple followed these news stations like, uh, sheep, OK? The herd mentality and dumbing down of America continues on.

He's gonna drown. You all think you are so damn smart electing this idiot. You will all be in for the shock of your life.

This article is so funny. If you look for the similar article that was on Foxnews.com yesterday, it also said that - yes Obama did ask 3 papers to leave - but that they are smaller in audience when compared to who they allowed on the plane. Someone had to get off - they didn't have enough room. Plus McCain did the same thing (look for the article) However, I read that it was for different- more national newspaper / magazines - not Glamour.
Maybe next time potential candidates should just use straws to see who stays and who goets off.

Will-I-AM of Cinti,

If the proof is in action, I put before you exhibit A:
Look at the audience at a McCain/Palin Rally, then look at the crowd at a Obama rally! Then ask yourself with the whole world watching, Which one is a better representative of America and its promise! Republicans are like the Wright Bros. and the rest of us are on the way to the Moon!!!

Talk about hypocrisy. You all constantly refer to the media as liberal as if you are not part of the media. You make charges with little or no evidence. You create labels of fear for an audience that largely does not know what the labels really mean. You want unfettered freedom to say what you think despite all evidence to the contrary. Then, a news maker decides to deny you access and you scream " that isn't fair." If you do not want fairness as a measure of the quality of your work, fine, but you cannot then claim free access to those at whom you target your vindictiveness.

I am hopeful against hope that an Obama election will be the beginning and the end of your fear mongering bias.

Wow, John, Its pretty obvious from your profile and by the "spam e-mail type" op-ed here that, although you may have "thought about whatever you wanted to think about" , you never found an understanding of the real world around you. I have read better written and thought out "propaganda emails" in my spam folder. Don't worry though, your gun totin', fear mongering crowd will get another chance in 4 years.

There seems to be rampant confusion. Mr. Lott's article is an Opinion piece and is not a Fox news report. As such, his article is based upon his opinion. Also, the commentators on Fox should not be confused with Fox news reporters. Hannity & Colmes and O'Reilly are commentators and not reporters. Recent research regarding media bias indicated that Fox news had 40% negative stories for McCain and 40% negative stories for Obama. That is as fair and balanced as it gets. BTW, the other stations didn't do so well. Yep, NBC news was at the bottom when it came to fairness toward McCain.

WHO LET THE DOGS OUT???? Looks like the Chicago thugs will be taking over DC. Surprised? Wait and see what else changes in America. Remember when we had freedom of speech?? you know, before Obama. To those who voted for him...congradulations, comrades, you supported the socialist, censored, and very ununited states of America. NO OBAMA NATION.

Where was this before the election? Obama keeps dropping his promises. Now his "Tax the rich" strategy is off the table. Where is he going to get all this money from to do all the things he was going to CHANGE? You fools voted in an inexperienced car salesman and our country will pay for it. How about his cabinet selections, Clinton-era retreads? Yes HE DID! Did he lie to you about his ability? YES HE DID! CHANGE YOU CAN BEREAVE IN. And the audacity of this pompous a-hole of a guy. Did you see his press conference the other day. The Sign on the podium said The OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT - ELECT! He is not even in office yet and he creates his own office? This guys head is swelling so big we are going to have to renovate the White House just so he won't be stuck in the oval office all the time! You kool-aide drinkers got played - big-time! SUCKERS! Oh and by the way he will never be "MY" president.
